Are you ready to ROCK-TOBER? Sun Radio’s Rock-toberfest returns, with a month-long celebration in October of living and late legends who paved the way for rock & roll!

Tune into Sun Radio both on-air and online for “Rock-tober” birthday celebrations including Tom Petty Day, exclusive artist interviews & performances from ACL Festival, the Dripping Springs Songwriters Festival and the Old Settler’s Music Festival, plus ticket giveaways to ACL Festival and the Old Settler’s Music Festival for Sun Radio Solar Panel Members.

Sun Radio makes it’s long-awaited return to Zilker Park for the 2021 Austin City Limits Music Festival, Oct. 1st-3rd & Oct. 8th-10th, with exclusive artist interviews & performances.

The Dripping Springs Songwriters Festival returns
Oct. 15th-17th with local & nationally acclaimed
singer-songwriters performing at 7 venues in historic downtown Dripping Springs!

Sun Radio’s Kevin Connor will broadcast his award-winning program ‘A Hill Country Saturday’ live on Oct. 16th from 9am-noon CT from Hudson’s On Mercer.

Sun Radio make it’s return to the 2021 Old Settler’s Music Festival in Tillmon, TX, Friday Oct. 22nd & Saturday Oct. 23rd, with exclusive artist interviews & performances.

Sun Radio’s annual Tom Petty Day (as proclaimed by the City Of Austin) returns Wednesday Oct. 20th, what would have been Petty’s 71st birthday. Tom Petty Day will include a full 24-hours of Petty’s 40+ year catalogue, along with local artist tributes and covers.

That evening from 7-8pm, Texas Radio Live at Guero’s Taco Bar will include a performance from Austin’s premiere Tom Petty tribute band The Damn Torpedoes.
