Soundwaves: Using Music to Create Visual Art to Do Good

The East Austin Studio Tour is happening this weekend and next, with hundreds of talented artists sharing their work and their work spaces. Included in the tour is The Soundwaves Art Foundation, where artist Tim Wakefield takes soundwaves from songs and transforms them into visual art. Prints are then signed by the musicians and sold to benefit charitable organizations around the world. On this edition of The Sun Radio Regional Report Kevin Connor talks with Jeremy Klitzman of Soundwaves and Dan Redman of the Mosaic Sound Collective, the home of Soundwaves’ new studio.
